JUDGEMENT

(1.) At the time of admission of this appeal, the following substantial question was framed "whether the court below erred in holding that there was no valid adoption".

(2.) The defendants are the appellants in this appeal

(3.) The plaintiffs had filed Title Suit no.40 of 1983 seeking relief, inter alia, for declaration that the defendant 2nd party is not the adopted son of late Giridhari Dholi and that the alleged deed of adoption dated 8.7.1974 is illegal, inoperative and void.
