JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner is an accused in the case registered under Sections 406, 409, 420 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case; the petitioner has no concern with the transaction between the main accusedAnish Kumar, who happens to be the son of the petitioner, and the informant; however, since Rs.1,00,000/ has been shown to be deposited in the account of the petitioner, he has paid the said amount to the informant by demand drafts, as described in Paragraph no.3 of the supplementary affidavit; the petitioner is in custody since August, 2010; he is a local permanent resident; there is no chance of his absconding.
