JUDGEMENT

(1.) HEARD the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. Copy of the writ application was served on the Standing Counsel, Central Government, in October 1999, and the name of the Standing Counsel appears in the cause -list, but no one appears on behalf of the Central Government. Yesterday the case was adjourned because of non -appearance of the Central Government Counsel. I record my displeasure, the way the Central Government in prosecuting their cases in this Court.

(2.) IN this writ application the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Court of Enquiry and the entire proceeding pending before the respondents. At this stage, I am not inclined to grant any relief to the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to move this Court at the appropriate stage if so advised.

(3.) WRIT dismissed.
