JUDGEMENT

(1.) I.A. No.11241 of 2019 has been filed by way of joint compromise by the petitioner and the O.P. No.02.

(2.) This revision has been preferred against the judgment dated 06.07.2019, passed in Criminal Appeal No.14 of 2018 by the learned Sessions Judge, East Singhbhum at jamshedpur, affirming the judgment dated 14.12.2017, whereby the petitioner has been convicted of the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, by the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, In C/1 Case No.181 of 2014, (T.R. No.559 of 2017). The petitioner has been convicted and ordered to pay the compensation of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees seven lakh only), in default thereof, to undergo S.I of six months.

(3.) Learned counsel appearing on behalf of O.P. No.02 has admitted that the petitioner has paid the amount as final settlement of dispute to O.P. No.02. It is submitted that since O.P. No.2's grievance has been redressed therefore he does not want to proceed further with the prosecution of the case.
