JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard the parties and with their consent this writ petition is being disposed of at this stage itself.

(2.) The prayer of the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to pay the increment as per statute and fix the pension, gratuity on the basis of last salary by calculating the increment with effect from 01.01.1997.

(3.) The petitioner retired from the service on 30.06.2004. His grievance is that he also filed representation to the respondents but his grievance has not been redressed as yet. It is further stated that exactly on the similar grounds, several writ petitions as also the Letters Patent Appeals were filed which was heard together and disposed of by common order on 22.05.2009 in W.P.(S) No. 1288 of 2008 and other analogous cases and on 09.04.2010 in L.P.A. No. 51 of 2010 and other analogous cases respectively.
