JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard counsel for the parties and with their consent, this application is disposed of at the stage of Admission.

(2.) The petitioners in this writ application have prayed for a direction upon the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners for their appointment as Oriya teachers in the schools within the district of Singhbhum in the State of Jharkhand, in view of the fact that they were selected for Teachers' Training in Orissa and also in view of the fact that a joint decision was taken at the Ministers level meeting of the states of Bihar and Orissa under which, the unemployed teachers who have passed their Teachers' Training Examination from Government Secondary Training Schools of Orissa, could be appointed in Oriya Medium Primary Schools in the district of Singhbhum.

Pleading for safeguarding the educational interest of Oriya linguistic minority group in the State of Jharkhand, the petitioners have sought for a direction upon the Respondent-State of Jharkhand to appoint them as Oriya Teachers in the Primary Schools in the district of Singhbhum, on the basis of their Teachers' Training Certificates, obtained from the Teachers Training Institutes in Orissa.
