(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties and with their consent, this writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission.
(2.) The petitioner in this writ application, has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to pay him the sum of Rs. 2,98,428.75/- being the purported admitted dues towards the work executed by the petitioner pursuant to the work orders granted to him by the respondents.

From the rival submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, it appears that certain work order was given to the petitioner and after execution of the same, the petitioner had submitted his Bills, demanding payment of the amount of Bills. It also appears from Annexures to the writ application, that a report was submitted by the concerned washery affirming that the petitioner has performed the work in pursuance of the work order. It also appears that when the payments were not forthcoming, the petitioner had written to the higher authority of the respondents who, in turn, forwarded the same for verification and inquiry. A report of the verification has also been received affirming the fact that the works have been executed by the petitioner and the Bill amount are due to him for payment. The petitioner thereafter filed his representation, but as it appears, his representation has not been disposed of as yet, hence this writ application.
