JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard counsel for the parties.

(2.) The petitioner in this writ application has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to pay him forthwith the Group Provident Fund and the benefits of the ACP Scheme together with interest.

(3.) Learned counsel for the petitioner informs that during the pendency of this writ application and as indicated in the counter affidavit of the respondents, a sum of Rs. 1,94,221/-has been paid under the head GPF but the same does not correspond to the actual amount to which the petitioner is entitled.
