JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard counsel for the parties.

(2.) The grievance of the petitioners, as expressed in this writ application, is against the pay slip (Annexure-1/1) issued to them, whereby the provisional pay fixation in the revised 1996 UGC Scale has been fixed for the petitioners at a lower scale by treating their appointment from the date of confirmation of their initial posting instead of the date of their initial appointment.
