Decided On February 27, 1979
BISHAN SINGH Appellant
V/S
STATE OF RAJASTHAN Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This revision petition is admitted only on the question of sentence.

(2.) I have heard the parties on the question of sentence. The petitioner has remained in custody for more than one month and twenty days. There does not appear any previous convict on. In the circumstances, sentence undergone would meet the end's of justice. The revision petition is, therefore, partly allowed while maintaining the conviction of the petitioner. His sentence is reduced to the sentence already undergone by him. He be released forthwith if not required in any other case. Revision partly allowed.
