JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking re-conduct of the Physical Efficiency Test ('PET') of the petitioners.

(2.) It is inter alia claimed that the petitioners had participated in the Constable recruitment, 2018 and they cleared the written examination. As per the various representations (Annex.5) filed by the petitioners, containing omnibus averments, it is claimed that the petitioners became aware of holding of the PET on 1/9/2018, which was held on 6/9/2018 and as they did not get sufficient time for preparing for the PET, they could not perform well and failed in PET and, therefore, they may be granted one more opportunity.

(3.) Learned counsel for the respondent - caveator submitted that admittedly as per the representations made by the petitioners, the petitioners became aware of holding of the PET well in advance and as such they have no cause in the present writ petition and the petition deserves to be dismissed.
