JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking directions to the respondents to provide adequate relaxation to the petitioners in minimum qualifying marks of REET 2017 in TSP female category, consider the candidature of the petitioners pursuant to the advertisement dtd. 12/4/2018 for the post of Teacher Gr. III (Level-I) in TSP Female category and to provide appointment to the petitioners on the post of Teacher Gr. III (Level-I) in TSP female category.

(2.) The petitioners, who belong to general/OBC category and are residents of TSP area, appeared in REET 2017 and obtained 56% marks, 56% marks and 58% marks respectively and were declared not eligible by the Board.

(3.) An advertisement dtd. 12/4/2018 (Annex.6) for the post of Teacher Gr. III (Level-I) was issued by the respondents, wherein, the requirement indicated was minimum 60% marks in REET 2017 and for candidates of Scheduled Tribes of TSP area, the same was indicated at 36% marks.
