SIRA SINGH Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present bail application has been filed under Sec. 439 Cr.P.C. The petitioners have been arrested in connection with FIR No. 238/2019, Police Station Hanumangarh Junction, District Hanumangarh for the offence under Sec. 8/15 and 25 of the NDPS Act.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the recovered contraband is below commercial quantity. The accused-petitioners are in judicial custody and the trial of the case will take sufficient long time to be concluded. Therefore, the benefit of bail should be granted to the accused-petitioner.

(3.) Learned Public Prosecutor opposed the bail application.
