JUDGEMENT

(1.) Counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to file individual representation to the Director, Secondary Education ventilating their grievance with regard to their place of posting not being in terms of their merit cum preference. Counsel submitted that the issue of place of posting in terms of merit cum preference has been addressed by this court in multiple cases both for Teachers Grade-III, as the petitioners are, and Teacher Grade-II as in the case of Suresh Kumar Chhipa Versus State of Rajasthan & Ors. (S.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 6222/2017; decided on 26.4.2017) and in the case of Monika Meel Versus The Dy. Director, Secondary Education & Ors. (SBCWP No 15668/2012; decided on 3.10.2012). He submitted that the Director, Secondary Education be directed to dispose of the representations made by the petitioners by a reasoned order with reference to the state of law determined by this Court in the cases referred to above. Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty, as prayed for. In the event representations are filed by the petitioners ventilating their grievance with regard to their place of posting not being in terms of merit cum preference, the Director, Secondary Education would dispose of the same by a speaking order within eight weeks of its receipt with reference to the order/s passed by this Court in the case of Suresh Kumar Chhipa (supra) and Monika Meel (supra) or any other case to which reference may be made in the representations.
