Decided On June 01, 2019
Anush Sharma Appellant
V/S
SECRETARY BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The petitioner has come before this Court as his date of birth mentioned in his marksheet of Xth Class is erroneous and does not tally with his school record which was sent by the school to the Board of Secondary Education.

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that in the Admission Card issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer, for appearing in the Secondary Examination was mentioned as 9.6.2004 and in his Xth Class marksheet also date of birth is shown as 9.6.2004, which was issued 28.3.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the school authorities had, however, erroneously sent the examination form mentioning the date of birth as 9.6.2002. But later on the school authorities sent the corrections to the Board of Secondary Education vide their letter dated 20.2.2018. The corrections in school record was not only with regard to petitioner but also with regard to other students and accordingly the date of birth was corrected and changed by the Board while issuing the admission card. But when the final result was declared, in the marksheet, the date of birth mentioned is 9.6.2002 instead o 9.6.2004.

(3.) The petitioner, thereafter, submitted representation alongwith the documents to the Board of Secondary Education which has failed to make the appropriate corrections.
