KAILASH CHAND SHARMA Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) The present second bail application has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. The petitioner has been arrested in connection with FIR No. 207/2019 Registered at Police Station ACB Jaipur for the offences under Sections 7, 7A of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 and Section 384, 120B of I.P.C.

(2.) Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this matter. Counsel further submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that he has taken the bribe of Rs. 1,00,000/- on behalf of co-accused-Chuttanlal Sharma who is a government employee. Counsel further submits that the petitioner is not required for any further investigation and challan has already been presented in the court.

(3.) Learned Public Prosecutor has opposed the bail application.
