(1.) The petitioner has preferred this writ petition claiming the following relief:

(2.) Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued a very limited issue which is the main prayer of the respondent in the election petition, and the same was only to have recounting of the votes. The prayers made in the election petition of the respondent, read as under:

(3.) The election of the petitioner as Sarpanch took place in Gram Panchayat Nadsar, Tehsil Bhopalgarh, District Jodhpur on 24/1/2015.
