JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the appellant.

(2.) The applications filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act in S.B.Civil Misc. Appeal No. 1008/2009 and 1011/2009, on the grounds mentioned therein, stand allowed. The delay in filing the said appeals stands condoned. Both the applications accordingly stand disposed of.

(3.) In all these appeals filed by the Union of India, a common question has been raised i.e. in respect of the effective date from which the interest should be awarded by the Tribunal while allowing the claim application.
