JUDGEMENT

(1.) This appeal is directed against the judgment dated 15.12.80 passed by the Sessions Judge, Sikar whereby the accused appellant has been convicted and sentenced under Sec. 2 of the Raj Preservation of Certain Animals Act.

(2.) On the basis of report Ex. P1 a case was registered against the accused appellant for the offences under Sec. 2 of the Raj. Preservation of Certain Animals Act (for short 'the Act'). After investigation the challan was filed against the accused appellant for the aforesaid Sec. of the Act. Charge for the said Sec. was framed against the accused appellant who denied the charge and claimed to be tried.

(3.) In all seven witnesses have been examined by the prosecution in support of the charge. Statement of accused appellant under section 313 Cr.P.C, was recorded wherein he denied the allegation levelled against him by the prosecution witnesses. In defence eight witnesses have been produced.
