MAYANK SONI AND OTHERS Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Instant miscellaneous petition has been preferred on behalf of petitioners under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of criminal proceedings in a case arising out of First Information Report bearing No. 03 of 2018 registered at Police Station Mahila Thana, Jaipur City (North) for commission of offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties.

(2.) The learned counsel appearing for the parties have submitted that the petitioner No. 1 - Mayank Soni was married with the respondent No. 2- Preeti Soni on 17.01.2017. A matrimonial dispute arose and subsequently, better sense prevailed between the parties and they have amicably resolved their matrimonial dispute.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has drawn attention of this Court towards Para 2 of the Compromise (Annexure-2) arrived at between the parties and the same reads as under:- HINDI MATTER
