JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) On 15.3.2007, Mr. Kailash Chand Vyas, District Education officer (Secondary), Jodhpur was present in the Court in compliance of the order of this Court dated 23.2.2007 and filed an additional affidavit, so also the service record of the petitioner was produced before the Court. During the course of the arguments on the said date, Dy. Govt. Counsel submitted that the case of the petitioner is at par with Smt. Iras J. Lal, who has already retired in the year 1993 and therefore, four weeks time was prayed for to settle the claim of the petitioner.

(3.) Today, it is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though assurance was given by the respondents before this Court on 15.3.2007 to settle the claim of the petitioner while accepting that the petitioner is at par with Iras J. Lal, who retired in the year 1993.
