JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS criminal misc. petition under Section 482 Cr. P. C. , is directed against the order dated 16. 5. 2007 passed by Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Vijay Nagar (Ajmer) whereby he has rejected the application of the petitioners challenging his jurisdiction.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners submits that no part of cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Vijay Nagar and therefore, that Court does not have territorial jurisdiction. He has placed reliance on AIR 2004 SC 4286 and RCC 2006 (2) 837.

(3.) IT is settled law that where the offence consists of several acts done in different local areas, it may be inquired into or tried by a Court having jurisdiction over any of such local areas as envisaged under Section 178 Cr. P. C.
