(1.) By way of filing present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction for extension of time for depositing the amount demanded vide notice dated 14.06.2006 (Annexure-1) and further prayed that the respondents may be directed to release agricultural electric connection to the petitioner.
(2.) The main contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that two another similarly situated persons namely Sh. Ram Ratan Jat S/o Ram Rakh Jat and Sh. Luna Ram S/o Himta Ram Jat, both resident of Napasar, have been granted benefit of extension of time in compliance of the directions conveyed by Hon'ble the Chief Minister, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur to Chairman & Managing Director, Jodhpur. Therefore, according to the petitioner, he is also entitled for the same relief granted to those persons and respondents cannot discriminate his case for extension of time for depositing the amount as directed by the respondent authority vide demand notice dated 14.06.2006 Annexure-1.
(3.) In para 3 of reply to the writ petition also, the only assertion made by the respondents is that two opportunities have been granted to the petitioner for depositing the amount as per demand notice, but the petitioner has failed to deposit the said amount.
