JUDGEMENT

(1.) This petition is directed against order dated 04.07.2016 passed by the Additional District Judge No.4, Udaipur, whereby the application filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time to file written statement, stands rejected.

(2.) On 09.08.2016 while issuing notices to the respondents, an interim order was passed by this Court in favour of the petitioner in the following terms :

(3.) Nobody has put in appearance on behalf of respondents despite service. However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the directions issued by this Court, the petitioner has already filed written statement on 23.08.2016 and the cost of Rs.1000/- offered has been accepted by the respondent-plaintiff.
