RAM SINGH AND ORS. Vs. STATE

JUDGEMENT

(1.) 31.10.1981 was Saturday. It is sad that after thirty four years of independence in the year 1981, caste/class war was existing in village Siwana, Tehsil Kishangarhbas, District Alwar. Regarding drawing of water from a Well, there was a long standing dispute between the Brahmins and Chamars of the said village.

(2.) On 31.10.1981, Jagmal Singh (P.W.21), who was posted as ASI, Police Station Khertal, received telephonic information that two factions in the village over dispute of Well were firing shots at each other. (3.) On receipt of above information, Jagmal Singh (P.W.21) along with ASI Chiranji Lal and another police officials for bringing law and order under control, went to Well situated in the village Siwana Patan. On arrival at the spot, he found dead body of Surajmal Jangda Brahmin and three to four injured were also present at the spot.
