Decided On May 11, 2016
Vera J. Merwanji Appellant
V/S
A. K. Sharma Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) This review petition has been filed by the petitioners regarding the order of this Court dated 18/12/2014 rendered in S.B.Civil Contempt Petition No. 527/2011, wherein, after considering the material on record, this Court came to the following conclusion and consequently the notices issued were discharged and contempt petition was dismissed:

(2.) In the present review petition, learned counsel for the petitioner emphasized that the petition pertained to disobedience of the order dated 9/7/2010 passed by this Court in S.B.Civil Writ Petition No. 6027/2010 and while deciding the contempt petition, this Court has come to the conclusion that the order dated 3/5/2013 passed during the pendency of the contempt petition having been complied with by the respondents, no case for committing contempt was made out and discharged the notices. With reference to various annexures to the writ petition as well as contempt petition, it was sought to be further emphasized that the respondents had in fact violated the order dated 9/7/2010 and there was no reason to discharge the notices issued to the respondents and, therefore, the order dated 18/12/2014 deserves to be reviewed.

(3.) I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material available on record.
