JUDGEMENT

(1.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that the petitioner be released on emergent parole to attend his wife, who has recently given birth to a child.

(2.) This Court on 29.3.2016 had passed the following order:-

(3.) The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that wife of the petitioner has given birth to a child on 30.3.2016. The learned Public Prosecutor further submitted that there is no provision in the rules to release a convict to attend his wife who is pregnant or has given birth to a child.
