JUDGEMENT

(1.) It is stated that criminal proceedings for offence under section 456 Penal Code in Cr Case No.79/2012, titled as State Vs. Gajendra, are pending before the court of Civil Judge (Jr Div) & Judicial Magistrate, Todabhim, Karauli. The parties have settled their dispute. An application for dropping the proceedings for the offence was filed before the trial court, however, application was not allowed as the offence is not compoundable. Hence, this criminal misc. petition under section 482 Crimial P.C. for dropping the proceedings.

(2.) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 so as learned PP do not oppose the prayer in view of the settlement between the parties.

(3.) The parties are present in the court. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this criminal misc. petition is allowed. The criminal proceedings for offence under section 456 Penal Code are dropped. Petition allowed.
