MANGLI DEVI Vs. PREM KUMAR VERMA

Decided On March 02, 2015
MANGLI DEVI Appellant
V/S
Prem Kumar Verma Respondents

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS appeal has been filed by Smt. Mangli Devi against her husband Prem Kumar Verma challenging the decree and judgment dated 15.07.2004 passed by District Judge, Alwar in divorce case No.484/1997 whereby the petition for divorce filed by Prem Kumar Verma was allowed.

(2.) I have heard arguments of the appellant. The respondent has remained absent despite service upon him in this appeal.

(3.) IT has been argued by the appellant that the impugned judgment is against the facts and contrary to law. It has further been argued that the statement of the appellant has wrongly been discarded by the court below. It has also been argued by the appellant that respondent is living in illicit relationship with Smt. Tulsi as husband and wife and that fact itself is a cruelty against the appellant. It has also been argued that the appellant is suffering a deserted life because of the conduct of her husband and the court below has given license to respondent to live in adultery with Smt. Tulsi.
