JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) The question for determination in this criminal misc. petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is whether the entry of the name of the petitioner as a history-sheeter in the record maintained by the Police Station Shipra Path, Jaipur and also in the website of the Police Department, State of Rajasthan being against the provisions of the Rajasthan Police Rules is liable to be removed.

(3.) Having considered the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties and the material made available on record and in the light of the view expressed by this Court in various cases from time to time, the misc. petition is allowed and the name of the petitioner is ordered to be removed as history-sheeter from any record including the website maintained by any of the police station within a period of seven days from today.
