(2.) By way of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has approached this Court praying for the following relief :-

(3.) The petitioner superannuated before the instant writ petition was filed and thus, the controversy is only being examined on the question of the petitioner s entitlement to receive monetary benefits in the event of the writ petition being allowed.
