JUDGEMENT

(1.) Having been convicted for offence under Ss. 302 and 498 -A IPC by the learned Special Judge, Women Atrocities & Dowry Cases, Jaipur City/District, Jaipur by the judgment dated 3rd November, 2006, the appellant has approached this Court.

(2.) By the said judgment, the learned Judge had convicted the appellant for offence under Ss. 302 and 498 -A IPC and by an order of even dated, sentenced him as under: -

(3.) Briefly stated the facts of the case are that on 26th April, 2004 accused appellant Shankar Lal lodged the written report (Ex. P. 13) at police station Shahpura, District Jaipur which is reproduced as under:
