BABLI Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appellant, Babli, has been convicted vide impugned judgment dated 23.2.2011 by the court of Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track), Mahuwa, District Dausa, for the offence under Section 302 IPC for committing murder of her husband, Mohan Lal Patwa.

(2.) HAVING convicted the appellant for the aforesaid offence, vide a separate order of even date, the appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 5,000/ -, in default of payment of fine, to further undergo six month S.I.

(3.) THE case of the prosecution rests on extra -judicial confession made by the appellant, Babli before Om Prakash (P.W.6) in whose house, the appellant was living as a tenant along with her husband.
