JUDGEMENT

(1.) We have heard learned counsel appearing for the respondents-alleged contemners.

(2.) This contempt petition was registered on a report received from the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate No.12, Jaipur Metropolitan alleging that despite directions issued on 10.1.2012, 20.10.2012 and 4.6.2013 on a complaint under section 156(3) Cr.P.C., the Station House Officers of the Police Station, Chaksu did not registered the FIR.

In the separate replies filed by the Station House Officers posted at P.S.Chaksu, they have taken a defence that the Additonal Chief Judicial Magistrate did not give any direction to register the FIR. He had only directed the investigation of the alleged offences to be carried out alongwith the First Information Report in the matter of Kewal Ram, in which the allegations of forgery were made. The documents and orders passed by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate were kept in the same file and both cases were investigated.
