RAJESH MOORYA @ CHARAN SINGH Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Rajesh Mourya @ Charan Singh s/o Ram Charan, aged 23 years, resident of Village Bari Ka Pura, Police Station Mata Basiya, District Murena, Madhya Pradesh has been convicted by the court of Special Judge (Prevention of Sati) cum Addl. Sessions Judge, Jaipur City, Jaipur, for the offence under Section 302 IPC.

(2.) The said court vide impugned judgment dated 7.11.2008 came to the conclusion that the appellant on 7.11.2007 at about 10:00 PM, near Gopalpura Bye Pass, Gurjar Ki Thari, committed murder of his friend/companion Rameshwar.

(3.) Having convicted the appellant for the aforesaid offence, the trial court vide a separate order of even date sentenced him to undergo life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/-; in default of payment of fine to further undergo three months additional R.I.
