PURAN MAL Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE appellant, Puran Mal, has instituted the present appeal through jail.

(2.) THE case of the prosecution is that on 22.12.2005, at 7:00 AM, appellant had murdered his parents, Ram Kishore father, Champa mother and Kaluram father of the complainant Murari. The court of Additional Sessions Judge (Fast Track) No.1, Alwar vide the impugned judgment dated 24.4.2006, held the appellant guilty of committing murder and convicted him for the offence under Section 302 IPC. Having convicted the appellant for the aforesaid offences, the trial court vide a separate order of even date sentenced him to undergo life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/ -.

(3.) THE criminal proceedings were set into motion on the basis of written report (Exhibit -P/1) presented by Murari (P.W.1) before Mahendra Kumar (P.W.12), who was then posted as S.H.O at Police Station Malakhera.
