JUDGEMENT

(1.) BY this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed that the orders dated 6. 6. 1987 (Annexure 5) and 1. 9. 1987 (Annexure 6) may be quashed and set aside and he may be given the benefit of with holding of two grade increments. He has also prayed that due amount of suspension period may be paid to him.

(2.) THE facts giving rise to the instant petition are that initially, on 1. 2. 1968, the petitioner was appointed as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the Urban Improvement (UIT), Chittorgarh. On abolition of UIT, Chittorgarh, were adjusted in Nagarpalika, Chittorgarh.

(3.) ON the basis of the enquiry report, Respondent No. 2 Administrator, Nagarpalika, Chittorgarh issued an order dated 6. 6. 1987 (Annexure 5), by which one grade increment of the petitioner with cumulative effect was withheld and the petitioner was punished accordingly.
