JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner has filed this contempt petition for non -compliance of the judgment dated 10.9.2007 passed by this Court.

(2.) THE contempt petition has been filed on 9.1.2014. According to Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, a contempt petition has to be filed within a period of one year from the date when the contempt occurs. Therefore, prima facie, this contempt petition is hit by limitation, as it has been filed after an inordinate delay of six and a half years.
