SUGREEV KUMAR @ SHAKA Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

(2.) The petitioner Sugreev Kumar who is said to be a juvenile was arrested in FIR No. 240/2014 dated 23.07.2014 registered at Police Station Keshri Singhpur, District Sriganganagar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an application under Sec. 12 of the Juvenile Justice Act was filed on behalf of the petitioner but the same was rejected vide order dated 20.08.2014. Against that order, an appeal was filed under Sec. 52 of the Juvenile Justice Act that too has been dismissed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sriganganagar but in fact for the welfare of the petitioner, he may be released on bail because the petitioner is a juvenile and was arrested in connection with offences under Sections 307,341,324,34 IPC.
