JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS Criminal Misc. Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer for quashing the FIR No. 126/2014 dated 29.08.2014 of Police Station, Falana, District Pali for the offence punishable under Section 363 and 366 IPC.

(2.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the respondent No. 2 has filed the impugned FIR alleging therein that the petitioner No. 2 has kidnapped his daughter i.e. petitioner No. 1. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the respondent No. 2 and the petitioners have compromised the matter and resolved the dispute between them amicably.

(3.) LEARNED counsel for the petitioners has submitted that this Court has directed the petitioners to appear before the Investigating Officer to join the investigation on or before 29.11.2014. A further direction has been given to the Investigating Officer to record the statement of petitioner No. 1. If necessary, she may be examined under Section 164 Cr.P.C. as well and, thereafter, the Investigating Officer shall submit the factual report before this Court. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to the direction given by this Court on 05.11.2014, the petitioners appeared before the Investigating Officer on 09.12.2014.
