(1.) THIS Criminal Misc. Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing the FIR No.286/2012 dated 16.06.2012 of Police Station, Sangaria, District Hanumangarh.

IT is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the said FIR was lodged by the respondent No.2 against the petitioners in respect of agriculture land owned by the respondent No.2, wherein the respondent No.2 has alleged that the petitioners have prepared forged agreement to sale and on the basis of that they have filed a suit for specific performance against her in a Civil Court. It is also contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that now the petitioners and the respondent No.2 has already entered into a compromise and the respondent No.2 has returned Rs.20,00,000/ - to the petitioners, paid to her in advance in lieu of sale of her agriculture land and the petitioners have also handed over the possession of the land to the respondent No.2.

LEARNED counsel for the respondent No.2 has also submitted that parties have entered in to a compromise and the respondent No.2 has already returned Rs.20,00,000/ - to the petitioners and the petitioners have handed over the possession of the agriculture land to the respondent No.2 and, therefore, now the respondent No.2 is not willing to prosecute the petitioners for the crime alleged in the impugned FIR.
