JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE lawyers are observing strike which is contrary to various Supreme Court decisions. Names of Dr. Nupur Bhati, as counsel for the petitioner and name of Mr. B.L. Bhati, Govt. Counsel and Digvijay Singh, Addl. Govt. Counsel are shown in the cause list.

(2.) THE case is listed at Serial No. 90 in today's cause list under the category of "For Hearing".

(3.) THE petitioner was selected and appointed as Librarian vide the order dated 04.10.1979 in the pay scale of Rs. 450 -770 and the pay scale from the year 1996 is Rs. 5500 -9000. Upon revision of pay scale, as made by the University Grants Commission, was given effect to in respect of professors, readers and lecturers, however, the pay scale of staff attached with the universities and government colleges were not revised, therefore, a writ petition was filed by Rajasthan University and College Physical Education, Teachers Association and Anr. being SBCWP No. 608/1982. The aforesaid writ petition was allowed by a coordinate bench of this Court at Jaipur Bench vide the judgment dated 08.10.1990. In the case of Rajasthan University and College Physical Educational Teacher's Association & Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. (SBCWP No. 608/1982, decided on 08.10.1990), the learned Single Judge of this Court held as under: -
