JUDGEMENT

(1.) Heard.

(2.) Instant petition under Sec. 482 Crimial P.C. has been preferred on behalf of petitioner praying interalia that the order dated 15.02.2014 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge, No.5, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur in Criminal Appeal No.122/2014, whereby the learned Judge allowed the application for suspension of sentence, awarded by the trial Court under Sec. 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, subject to condition that petitioner shall deposit INR 2,00,000.00 be set aside.

(3.) The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was convicted and sentenced for commission of offence punishable under Sec. 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and was also directed to pay compensation of INR 6,50,000.00 to the complainant.
