MANJU SHARMA Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE petitioner was initially appointed on contractual basis as Teacher on 09.09.1984 and upon termination of her services, she approached this Court by filing writ petition being SBCWP No.1178/1991 - Smt. Manju Sharma Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors, which was decided by the learned Single Judge of this Court on 14.12.1999 directing the respondents to regularise her services since she had completed the training provided by the State Government itself.

(2.) THE petitioner was, accordingly, regularised in the services vide the order (Annex.4) dated 10.05.2000 and was given the notional pay scale with effect from 20.05.1996, however, an undertaking was obtained from her that she could not claim any arrears for the contractual period of employment prior to the date of the order dated 11.04.2000, the copy of the said affidavit/undertaking is annexed as Annex.6 as modified by another affidavit (Annex.7) dated 15.05.2000.

(3.) BEING aggrieved by the same the petitioner has filed the present writ petition in this Court and upon issuance of notices the respondent have not filed reply to the writ petition.
