JUDGEMENT

(1.) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the disciplinary proceeding that has been initiated against him by way of charge-sheet dtd. 12/6/2013 ( Annexure-1).

(2.) Before adverting to the rival contentions, it would be apposite to be abreast of the facts of case to the extent necessary.

(3.) The petitioner was appointed as a Junior Engineer on 1/3/1983 and was promoted on the post of Assistant Engineer on 12/3/1999.
