MANJU Vs. STATE OF RAJASTHAN

JUDGEMENT

(1.) By order dtd. 9/12/2022, notices were issued to the respondents and learned GA was directed to instruct the SHO to trace out and present the corpus being minor daughter of the petitioner in the Court before the next date.

(2.) On 16/1/2023 and 4/2/2023 reports were filed indicating the efforts being made for tracing the corpus. Today, when the matter is listed, it is indicated that the corpus Ms. 'S' has appeared on her own before the Court along with her husband and mother-in-law inter alia indicating that she has solemnized the marriage with Naveen S/o Shanker Lal, R/o Jodha Ka Bass, Chidawa, District Jhunjhunu, at Arya Samaj Temple, Gajiyabad on 3/2/2023, on attaining the age of majority. As per the secondary mark-sheet produced along with petition her date of birth is 1/2/2005.

(3.) It is further indicated that she has obtained order of police protection from Bench at Jaipur in S.B. Criminal Misc. Petition No.275/2023, wherein, by order dtd. 9/2/2023, she has been accorded police protection for a period of six weeks.
