JUDGEMENT

(1.) THE only prayer made in the present writ petition is that the respondents be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner for regularisation of the land in question given on lease to the petitioner.

(2.) THE learned counsel for the respondent ­ Municipal Council Mr. Shyam Ladrecha has pointed out that vide notification No..8(1)( ) / /04/II/1542 dtd.2.4.2005, the power has since been vested with the State Government and they are no longer available with the Municipal Council. (3.) ACCORDINGLY , the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Secretary of the Local Self Department to decide the pending representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from today. No order as to costs. A copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned forthwith.
