JUDGEMENT

(1.) CONTENTION of Learned Counsel for the petitioners is that this Court in identical writ petition bearing no.13985/2011, Mintu Kumari & Ors. vs. State & Anr. decided on 1.12.2011 has dealt with the similar issue where less meritorious candidates were appointed on the post of ANM, whereas candidates having higher merit have been ignored. This Court has directed such candidates who approached this Court to join the place of their posting within three weeks, however directed the respondents to consider their case for posting in the district of their choice, subject to availability of vacancy. This petition is therefore disposed of requiring petitioners to make a representation to the Additional Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services, Rajasthan, Jaipur who shall in the light of aforesaid judgement in Mintu Kumar, supra examine the case of petitioners for shifting to Churu, Bikaner or Nagaur district wherefore they have given their preference. However, the petitioners in the meantime shall join at the place where they were posted. The respondents are expected to complete the exercise within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
