HIMMAT BHAI Vs. STATE OF RAJ & ORS

JUDGEMENT

(1.) Incarcerated in Central Jail Jodhpur, a convicted prisoner, Himmat Bhai, has sent a letter to this Court which has been treated as a letter petition by this Court.

(2.) The petitioner has pleaded that although he has spent twenty days of his first parole peacefully, he has been denied second parole for thirty days on the ground that the District Magistrate Rajkot and the Superintendent of Police have given adverse report. According to him, the District Parole Committee has rejected his case by order dated 21.05.2012.

(3.) Therefore, he has prayed that he may be released on parole of thirty days.
