JUDGEMENT

(1.) THIS petition was filed by the petitioner, who is the father, whose daughter, student of B.Com 1st Year, had gone to College on 18.02.2012, but did not return. He has stated that she gave a telephone call stating that she will return in next morning, but she did not return. As such on 18.02.2012 a Missing Person Report No.3 of 2012 was lodged by the petitioner at Police Station, Harmada, Jaipur for tracing his daughter.

(2.) WHEN the daughter of the petitioner did not return, the petitioner approached the Collector for issuing necessary directions. In the meanwhile, a letter was also received on 26.02.2012 said to have been signed by the daughter of the petitioner in which she has stated that she had entered into marriage with one Narendra on 18.02.2012 at Arya Samaj Temple, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur and that they are residing in Mahaveer Nagar-III, Kota.

(3.) AS per the School record, the date-of-birth of the daughter of petitioner is 6th July, 1992 and accordingly on 18.02.2012 the daughter of the petitioner is more than 18-years of age. She has stated before this Court that she wishes to accompany Narendra and reside with him after she has entered into marriage with Narendra at the Arya Samaj Temple, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur on 18.02.2012. A Certificate to this effect issued by the Arya Samaj Temple has also been submitted as Annexure R/1, along with the reply submitted by the respondents.
